“Spending clinical time in Atrium Health hospitals meant many managers were familiar with who I was, and they already knew my work ethic. Without Cabarrus College, I would not have landed my dream job right out of school! A professor’s connection with a former graduate that worked in my desired specialty is what gained me access to shadow on the unit and meet the nurse manager. From there, I got an interview and had a job offer 3 months before I graduated. I truly wouldn’t be where I am today in my career without Cabarrus College!”

“My experience as a nursing student was great from the beginning to graduation!  The individualized attention and help from the faculty were extremely beneficial and made you feel supported and cared for as a student. I feel the education received has prepared me to have the key competencies to excel as a leader and a public advocate for my patients and profession.”

Size matters. I wanted a school where I wasn’t just another number. Cabarrus College really does have the room to care about you individually. From the receptionist’s smiling face at the front desk to each and every instructor, they really get to know you. Instructors often times give almost instantaneous replies outside of classroom hours and I feel as though anyone of the faculty is just an email or phone call away. I can’t tell you how many times my advisor has checked in on me…and offered assistance in any way she can. Cabarrus College can offer individualized support to help you achieve your dreams.”
